This past weekend, Aniya Broomfield opened competitive season by attending the first qualifier hosted by Burlington Gymnastics Club! For Aniyah, it was her very first meet in level 10. She was working extremely hard last few months to upgrade her skills on every event to reach this level, and she was very nervous at this meet! Regardless, she demonstrated a great focus, determination, ability to perform under pressure, and great gymnastics as well. She performed new skills on every event and was pretty consistent. Aniyah placed 3rd on vault, 5th on bars, 6th on beam, 3rd on the floor, and 5th All Around!
Now Aniyah is looking forward for improvements which she can try on the 2nd qualifier in the middle of January in Quinte Bay!!!
CONGRATULATIONS and keep working hard towards new goals!!!!
